Food safety as a service

What is your first thought when you hear “food safety as a service”?

I think this depends on where i heard it or where i read it.

I work for a company in the food safety businesses and my boss wants to offer this to the customers but I feel is confusing… Exactly, it doesn’t tell you anything or at least there is not a clear message there… To vague, don’t you think that?

If this sentence was a motto of a food production company as a sea products producer, i would understand that " food safety is in our soul " or like this. :slight_smile:

To me when I read food safety as a service, I think of an agency or business that has the capacity to test food whether it be cooked or a finishee product and determine if it is safe for human consumption. Basically what my agency currently does.

@Kelvene_Spencer Do you have a lab? Or what kind of business do you own?

I work for the only government non clinical laboratory. I am a microbiologist whose main responsibilities are food and water microbial testing. This we use to determine food and water quality. As it pertains to food, our clients mainly consist of catering groups and hotels.
