For those in the food manufacturing industry, are you transitioning away from the use of partially hydrogenated fats and oils?
Some years before since
Nowadays most of the workers,some of them are health professionals and are aware of the health effects of trans-fats. Very few industries still adopt that.
But anyway sincerely, many manufacturers still prefer this oil for its low cost and long shelf life.
True, but a lot of countries are banning the use of industry-produced partially hydrogenated fats.
In many countries, there is already a total ban on partially hydrogenated oils (but not with fully hydrogenated oils.) in general food applications.
