FSSC and ISO

What is the main difference between FSSC 22000 and ISO 22000? Which one is better and which one has a limited scope ? I Need a complete comprehensive guidance about these two standards two deteriorate my confusion.

Fssc is recognized by GFSI and ISO not.

FSSC 22000 is similar to ISO 22000 in that the FSSC 22000 scheme uses ISO 22000 as the requirements for the management system. However, FSSC 22000 includes additional requirements. So, complying to FSSC 22000 is more encompassing and will help you with GFSI if that is what you require. If you do not require GFSI certification, you should reduce your effort and stick with ISO.
