Yoghurt analysis

Hello everyone :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I need your ideas, suggestions and recommendations on the appropriate machine to use for analysing the physiochemical properties (like fat, SNF, etc) of yoghurt.
Most milk analysers I’ve used go faulty over time even with proper cleaning and calibration. On one of the cases, I contacted the manufacturer and he stated that the machine is for raw milk and not yoghurt.

Thanks for helping

The manufacturer was right. Lactoscans use a light beam for sample analysis, and the conduits are not made for a viscous sample like yoghurt. I’m not completely certain but I don’t think an all-in-one sample analyzer for yoghurt has been made yet. So, just use the good old manual methods.

Exactly, @pykev is right.

You just have to use the manual method for the analysis
