The most concern will be the doubt raised on consumers mind whether the food product was contaminated or not. It will create a serious problem. Food industry should address this problem by claiming that their products were prepared, packed and distributed according to food safety norms and cross checked at multiple points. This may reduce the doubt but it will take time to regain the trust.
With more and more of grab food and other retailers sending out food to customers, is there a possibility of more stringent measures required during times like this (covid).
