How to increase the pH of a salt brine solution?

Hi there,

How would I be able to increase the pH of a salt saline solution that has citric acid, lactic acid and ascorbic acid in it? The pH is currently 2.75 and I would like to bring it up to 3.96. Would decreasing the amount of ascorbic or citric acid make a difference?

You had to prove your hypothesis…
include also in your pH reduction experiment the inclusion of buffer like trisodium or tripotassium citrate…
