What are your thoughts about 3D-printed food items?
3D printing has been growing continually, and it has now disrupted how we are creating food.
As of January 2020, there are about 20 commercially-available 3D food printers in the market. Some of which can print chocolates, pastes, and fondants.
Several companies such as NASA (yes, those guys who goes to space), explored the idea of using 3D food printers to create pizza! Other companies have successfully used sugar to create 3D printed candies. Hershey’s even partnered with one of the leading companies in 3D printer technology to create 3D printed chocolates.

we also saw Pepsi has been using 3D printers for the research and development of potato chip products since 2011. And the tech has come on leaps and bounds; as of 2023.
we’re not too sure how we feel about this but who knows this could be the future!?
