Do prebiotic in food product attract mold growth?

Hello, I prepared one probiotic breakfast cereal for which I used Inulin as prebiotic and bacillus coagulans as probiotic.
Minimum shelf life of the product I expected 6 months but just after 3 months there I observed mold growth.
I have one doubt, Is there any possibility that prebiotic promoted the growth of mold?

Generally speaking The substrate has nothing to do with its shelf lifeā€¦Prebiotic and probiotic ingredients are still susceptible to microbial growth if the Aw values are conducive to infectionand its proliferation.
If it does not contain any specific inhibitor or preventive its the same as any other cereal that are prepared and stored with no concern for factors that induces such kind of spoilageā€¦
