Sodium carboxymethylcellulose or CMC is either added in powder form in dry mixes or stirred into a liquid with high speed stirrer to disperse it evenly.often the powdered form is used in dry mixes while the coarser granular form is dispersed under extreme agitation..
You can also blend it other soluble solids in your formulation then disprese it with agitation in water or in otherpolar liquids used in your food processing.
