Food label regulation - sugar

I have a formula with a small amount of sugar. I listed it on the ingredients list, but the issue is when I calculate the amount in the final formula, it comes out to be <0.5g.

I see on the regulations if you make a sugar free claim but have ingredients commonly known as sugar, you can add an asterisk and put a disclaimer such as “adds an insignificant amount of sugar”.

Can I apply this rule here?

It would be odd that sugar is listed as an ingredient, yet I have 0 sugars on the Supplement Facts Panel.

<0.5g of sugars per 100g or 100ml?
If that’s so, you can use “sugar free” claim.
You must know “sugar free” is not the same as “no added sugar”.
Here you have the definition of sugar free:
-One serving* contains less than 0.5 grams of sugars, both natural and added
