Can we use Apple seed powder as disinfectant in food industry ?
No…apple seed do contain amygdalin which is converted to hydrocyanic acid…
The amount of HCN in apples is little …but eating sufficient amount of appleseed would be enough to kill you.
Fyi Hydrocyanic acid chemically is a toxic poison… Inspite of that fact I don’t see any disinfectant or sanitizing agent having it as its volatile.
