Brief question about H2O in the compound

Hi Guys, nice to meet you all! I just have a few question about the chemistry and pH:

  1. Sometimes we could see things like Na4P2O7 · 10H2O and Na4P2O7, basically the same chemical compound but without 10 H2O;
  2. Is it means that the pH and P2O5% of Na4P2O7 · 10H2O would lower than Na4P2O7 with the presence of that 10 H2O in the compound?

You can check that by calculating the molecular weight of both the hydrate and anhydrous version…Then compute how many percent is the main ingredient is there in the hydrate version.
