The Anti-Obesity and Anti-Diabetic Effect of Hibiscus sabdariffa in Meal Form Combination with Bifidobacterium breve 3 in Sprague Dawley Rats
This study evaluated the anti-obesity and anti-diabetic potential of Hibiscus sabdariffa (HS) meal, alone and in combination with Bifidobacterium breve 3 (BB), in female Sprague Dawley rats. Rats were fed diets containing 2.5% or 5% HS, with or without 0.25% BB, followed by a high-fat, high-sugar (HFD) diet until week 40.
