Phytochemical Properties and in vitro Antioxydant Activities of the Lannea Microcarpa Extracts

This study investigates the phytochemical composition and antioxidant activ- ity of extracts from the trunk bark of Lannea microcarpa, a tree traditionally used in Mali for various medicinal purposes. The sample was collected in Kayes. The polyphenols, flavonoids, tannins and anthocyanins of the extracts were quantified using spectrophotometry and identified via HPLC.
