The Characterization of a Chitosan Coating Enriched with Bamboo-Leaf Flavonoids and Its Effect on Postharvest Preservation of Three Horticultural Products

Chitosan coatings have been demonstrated to be a highly effective and safe approach to extending the shelf life of food. This study, for the first time, evaluates the effectiveness of bamboo-leaf flavonoids (BLFs) added to a chitosan coating to delay the spoilage of strawber- ries, blueberries, and bamboo shoots.
