Study of the extraction of bioactive compounds from pomelo (Citrus maxima) pith and applying it to drinking products
This study aimed to identify the suitable parameters for extracting biological compounds from pomelo pith. Survey factors included solvent types (ethanol 80° and water), extraction temperature (70℃, 80℃, and 90℃), material size (2 mm, 3 mm, and 5 mm), time extraction (60 mins, 90 mins, and 120 mins), material: solvent ratio (1:8, 1:9 and 1:10 w/w).
